The base was invested in and constructed by Beijing Fullcryo in 2017 and is a high-end equipment manufacturing enterprise with independent technological intellectual property rights for large-scale cryogenic equipment below 20K (-253°C to -271°C). It is also a manufacturer and service provider that can simultaneously provide non-standard customization, leasing, and hosting operations for large-scale cryogenic temperature equipment at 4.2K (-269°C) and 20K (-253°C).
The base covers an area of 50 acres with a total planned construction area of 83,000 square meters, the first phase covering 42,000 square meters. The first phase of the project started on October 28, 2018, was completed on October 26, 2019, and officially started operations on October 1, 2020.
